Sally

Sally Berry is a creative photo artist based in Santa Barbara, California specializing in nature and landscape images of west coast United States. Her images are inspired from water and surrounding nature typically using a painterly style with a touch of fine lines. Each image hopes to communicate her visual mood and the fragility of the environment. She started early in life with 35mm film photography and later expanded to digital imagery and photo art. You can find her work at local and regional gallery shows. “I love seascapes, anything water, open spaces and often prefer to create a soft, painterly effect. Rather than losing the image in the “digital” format, my goal is to interpret and finalize the photo image as a print on media such as cotton rag paper.”

The Life of a Tire

I don’t know why this tire has intrigued me, but it has. I first noticed the tire it several weeks ago after our super king tide and storm surge at the beginning of the year. That is when it first appeared on the beach where I typically walk. This month, a pretty strong storm decided
