The Tri-County Juried Exhibition is an exhibition that I look forward to every year. Each year the exhibition has a unique theme and a different juror. The artists come from three of our nearby counties – San Luis Obispo, Santa Barbara and Ventura Counties. The Westmont Ridley-Tree Museum of Art is a beautiful place to view art. My favorite part is the open house – this year the reception is on May 21st from 4-6 PM. Seeing all the people, artist and artwork connecting together gives energy to the evening. I love hearing the juror talk and learn how they chose the work in the show.
There are a few familiar names on the list of participants. I was excited to learn that my photo art “Close Encounter” will be in the exhibition. I hope you will be able to join me at the reception… or be able to see the exhibition another time this month.
